Pub restaurant in beautiful setting gets licence

The Shepherd and Dog is located in the quiet village of Fulking near Henfield. Villagers including the Parish Council objected to the grant of a licence to include a beer garden area where an outside bar would be located. Villagers were principally concerned about potential music noise. The council decided to grant the licence subject to two additional conditions. David Pearse was delighted with the result. He stated that he wishes to work with residents whilst running a business and that any music played in the garden would be minimalist in nature.

He said “I am so glad I came to you Stephen. This was really good work, thank you so much for helping us. You where the right person to choose.”
